The first thing I noticed on this page is the 180 you did with the last two panels -- that throws off the flow from panel to panel. You also might want to consider adjusting the angles you use so that the figures don't look as stiff (like the panel where he's being knocked over, he shouldn't look like that). Your panel choices show a lack of dynamics too, there's really no foreshortening like you'd see in strong sequential storytelling. That combined with the sudden absence of a background in panel 5 and 6 (considering you did put one into panel 1 and we're not looking at the figures at extreme closeup in those panels, there should be a background there) and the fact the weights are the same no matter what depth of field they're at in the panels, makes the page stutter sequentially.

Thanks for taking the time to review these pages. I totally agree with you on the absence of background for panels 5 and 6(it really would have help it look better). Line weight variation would have definitely improved this page as well. The combination of not having an inker for this series(just darkened pencils above, same for almost everything else in my gallery) and being fortunate to work with such talented colorist, I know has made me really slack off in that department. So thanks, that's something I'm definitely going to strive to improve upon.

Yeah the whole pencils to colours thing puts extra work on the penciler, having to do what we inkers would normally be doing to make the pencils pop (and sometimes correct stuff the penciler might've missed).

I'm glad my comments went over well hehe, honestly I rarely ever give a critique because so many people on DA take them really badly ^^; But I could see your efforts in your work :)

Well thank you again for taking the time to do so. There should always be something to try to improve upon if you want to keep evolving as an artist and really as a person. So thanks!=)

And yeah,"having to do what we inkers would normally be doing to make the pencils pop (and sometimes correct stuff the penciler might've missed)." is exactly it. I've seen what inking can do for my or well anybody's work when its done well, and unfortunately I just do not posses that skill set. One of friends was an inker over at DC, and I have no idea how you guys have the patience to do what you do. The average person hasn't a clue about how much time and effort the inker has to put into every page.:omfg:

Thanks again, look forward to seeing more of your work(and hopefully critiques) in the future!:boogie:

:handshake: Anything I can do to help :)

Keep practicing, or even try inking other pencilers to sort of get a grasp of it :D Haha yeah it does take patience, you should see some of the stuff we're given to ink.

I'll try :D I've been on FB more often these days, I have a page over there for my art now.
